ARCHITĒCTURE
The architecture of PNOĒS is a physical manifestation of the elements that define the island. Earth, wind and water shape the composition and materiality, enrich the experience of living, and translate in an environment of relaxation, ease and introspection.

ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
OVERALL FEEL
The elements of the island (wind, water) and the peculiarities of the valley (earth) are the core inspiration for the design of PNOĒS, which is deeply rooted in its environment.
PNOĒS is deeply rooted in its environment, and interprets the values of Cycladic architecture, making them contemporary and sophisticated.
A mixture of traditional craft and modern techniques achieve a balance of contemporary and eternal. Dry stone walls and lime washed surfaces encounter minimal steel and wood structures and broad airy openings in a carefully concerted equilibrium.
The outdoor experience plays a key role in the PNOĒS experience. From relaxing by your private pool, to discovering pristine beaches, to enjoying sunset from a hiking trail, PNOĒS guides its guests through a path to discover what of most special the island has to offer.
Objects, products and decor in the villas aim at showcasing local goods, talent and craftsmanship. We suggest to our guests a journey through local stores and boutiques, to appreciate at best the culture of the place, both traditional and contemporary.
NATURAL TINIAN ELEMENTS
The place and its qualities determine the three fundamental elements of the architecture. EARTH translates into introspective, protected, atmospheric habitats carved in the rock. WIND takes the shape of floating, airy white-washed cubic shapes, light and ethereal. WATER surrounds surrounds and reflects, softens the forms and purifies.
OUTDOOR SPACES, AND THE GROUNDS
Outdoor spaces complete the PNOĒS atmosphere. Against the backdrop of the Aegean Sea and the richly cultivated farmland, our gardens and outdoor walkways unravel between lush and sculptural, natural and manicured, light and shade.
